NASSTAR SECURES COVETED PLACE ON CROWN COMMERCIAL SERVICE FRAMEWORK

Successful award of RM3808 for network services enables Nasstar to sell to Public Sector for the next five years.

Managed IT Services Provider Nasstar has today announced it has been successfully awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) RM3808 Network Services 2 Framework. The successful bid means that Nasstar is one of the few suppliers providing complete ‘end-to-end’ communications solutions to the UK Public Sector for the next five years.

RM3808 is a procurement framework designed for the provision of Communications and Network services to be used by the UK Public Sector and their associated bodies and agencies, including the voluntary sector and charities.

Nasstar bid for 8 of the 13 Lots stated under the Framework and was successful in all 8 areas with a concentration across Unified Communications, Contact Centre and Data Services. With a specialism in providing Microsoft based digital transformation services for organisations such as Parliamentary Digital Services, Office for National Statistics, Accent Housing and The Royal Mint, Nasstar is pleased to be able to continue its work with the Public Sector.

Wayne Churchill, CEO of Nasstar comments, “This was a thorough process and only the most capable and certified organisations were successful. CCS has recognised the capability that Nasstar has to deliver digital transformation, best commercial value, and excellent service to the Public Sector. Nasstar is proud to continue working with the hundreds of Public Sector customers it currently supports and will look to help accelerate the pace of digital change and modern working practices to deliver secure and flexible services, alongside efficiency savings.”

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m - supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers.
