The challenges
RCN needed to upgrade its legacy Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure to a scalable, resilient network that would deliver both a faster performance today and underpin future growth.
Our goal
The outcome
Find out how our expertise could transform your organisation.
Significant cost savings
RCN achieved approximately £200,000 in annual savings by reducing costs related to circuit rentals, internet services, and firewall licensing and support.
Improved network performance and reliability
With 100Mb/1Gb circuits into all sites, the new network model significantly reduced congestion, resulting in a faster, more reliable network that can better support voice and data services.
Enhanced cloud and colocation readiness
The new model enables RCN to strategically progress with colocation and cloud adoption, including the ability to move servers to a new cloud environment and expand its own shared data centre.
Simplified and centralised network management
A centralised firewall service and internet breakout streamline network administration, improving security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
What RCN has to say...
