What is a shared domain, and how do I know what service I have?
If you have a website or email address that ends in any of the following, you are using services with a shared domain.
eclipse.co.uk
mistral.co.uk
ftech.co.uk
webleicester.co.uk
olcs.net
interalpha.co.uk
innotts.co.uk
You can see a list of your services in the customer portal (portal.nasstar.com) under ‘Services’, this may be listed as Email & Web Hosting or CRM Email Services. Some of our older products may not appear in this list.
Will my service still work after the product goes End-of-Service (EOS)?
No, unfortunately, the service will stop working. This includes web hosting, email services and DNS hosting.
When will this be reflected on my bill?
We will cease the billing of the affected services on 16th of January 2026. Please note that some of these services may be free of charge; we will cease those service lines from 16th January 2026.
Can I keep my subdomain or email service?
As this service uses a shared subdomain (a domain which is owned by Nasstar but used by many customers), such as .eclipse.co.uk or .mistral.co.uk, you won’t be able to keep the service or transfer it to another provider. This includes any website or email accounts attached to it.
Will this impact connectivity products, such as broadband or leased lines?
No, although some of our connectivity products use ‘.adsl.eclipse.co.uk’ in their usernames, this EOS only affects domain services, such as web hosting and email. Any broadband or leased line connectivity using the ‘.adsl.eclipse.co.uk’ realm will not be affected.
Can I still use my eclipse.co.uk or mistral.co.uk email address to log in to the portal to access other services?
No, you should log into the portal before the EOS date and create a new admin user with a different email address.
Next steps
Save important emails you wish to keep and download website content via the portal.
If your portal login is linked to an email account impacted by this notice, please update it to a different address.
Update any external accounts you have that use the email address as a contact or username. If you don’t already have an alternative email address, find an alternate email provider and set up a new email address to use.
