Author bio
Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Chris brings 27 years of experience in IT consultancy, specialising in Microsoft cloud technologies, automation, and AI integration. At Nasstar, Chris is part of the team that designs and delivers intelligent solutions that help organisations streamline operations and unlock the full potential of platforms like Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Azure AI.
His work spans a range of sectors, including public services, retail, and education. Here, Chris has helped clients move from legacy processes to modern, AI-powered workflows. From deploying Copilot Studio chatbots to building secure, voice-enabled agents and AI search interfaces, he focuses on solutions that are robust, explainable, and designed for real-world impact.
Chris is often brought into strategic conversations, supporting clients in defining their automation roadmap or acting as a fractional CAIO or technical architect. His approach is grounded in empathy and clarity, bridging the gap between business needs and emerging tech, ensuring adoption is smooth, secure, and sustainable.
Outside of work, Chris is a father of four (soon to be five), a lifelong Star Trek fan, and an advocate for assistive technology, driven by his daughter’s experience with complex needs. That personal insight shapes his belief that AI should be practical, human-centred, and accessible to all.
