Nasstar Hosted Desktop has an exceptional record for application availability. Application availability is defined as the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite from within Hosted Desktop. This runs at 99.98% over the past 24 months. 3.5 hours in 17,520 hours. This is against an industry standard SLA of 99.9% or 17.5 hours over the same 24 month period.

To achieve this high availability each element of Nasstar Hosted Desktop is designed for redundancy.

Profile and file data is replicated over two geographically diverse sites in a 'live-live' configuration. This enables a Recovery Point Objective and Recovery Time Objective of 60 minutes with a target time of 15 minutes.

Nasstar utilises technology from our key technology partners including microsoft and Citrix.

Nasstar uses Citrix to provide the best user experience via the Citrix Receiver and our XenApp 6.5 platform. The platform is built on HP servers, with Cisco networking hardware, EMC SANs and IBM Proventia intrusion protection.
